Lavender essential oil is the essence of the plant and isn't really an oil, like olive oil for example. In fact, it has little or no fatty substance.

Essential oil of lavender offers a powerful sensory experience. Research on the physiological and psychological effects of essential oils is well documented and shows that it has been used for centuries to soothe, heal and rejuvenate the mind, spirit and body. It's a natural relaxant and stress reliever and a little goes a long way. Lavender essential oil is one of the only essential oils that can be used undiluted directly on your skin, but test a small patch of skin first. Packaged in an amber bottle with a fitted dropper insert.

Suggested Uses:
  • Use in bath oils, candles, soaps, potpourris, massage oils and perfumes.
  • Treat yourself by adding five to ten drops to your bath water to relax you and soothe and heal minor skin abrasions or sunburn. The essential oil is absorbed into the skin and inhaled for optimum effect.
  • Essential oil of lavender is reputed to ease headaches when massaged gently into the temples (test a small patch of skin first or mix with a base product).
  • Add a few drops to refresh potpourri.
  • Disperse the natural scent into the air using an aromatic diffuser or light bulb ring.
  • Use it to relieve insect bites and burns (test a small patch of skin first or mix with a base product).
  • Add a few drops to your washing machine rinse cycle.
  • Shake a few drops onto a cotton ball and slip it under your pillow to relax you to sleep.
  • Add a few drops to your vacuum cleaner's filter bag to fill your home with the calming scent of lavender.
  • Add a few drops to a cotton ball and toss it in your dryer for lightly scented sheets, towels & delicates.
